Basically for $0.25 over what regular crew makes I do all jobs that that entails for instance cleaning all pieces of machinery, making food, distributing food, and putting up with customer's poo. On top of that when someone new to the job is hired the crew trainer well.......you get the idea. Being a trainer does have its perks. The raise is nothing but when you are given power over the crew one can choose to use that new given stature for good or evil. I myself find tasks for someone to do that may technically be what I am supposed to do, but it is never questioned for it may very well be to train the crew better...or at least that's my excuse. The job isn't that bad but if you, like me, work hard no matter what the job is, don't work your way up in fast food. You will soon find that those under you don't give two shits whether the store goes up in flames, therefore never do more than the minimum that is required of them. Its frustrating to have people that complain that the work is too hard when we all know that monkeys can do more complex tasks. You begin to believe that you are the smartest person in the world to do things so efficiently yet once you leave your shift you realize you aren't super fast, you just work with individuals severely lacking something in the gray matter. My rating would be 3 fat bums. My reasoning for this is that the job really needs you too work hard in a short period of time and pays you peanuts. But working with people is a plus. Also you can get cheap food. |
